Additional Parent Bravos
Dear Mrs. Stark,
My older son, Andrew, is now in the public school system. His teachers are posting new homework assignments, but that is the extent of the remote learning. I know that you work with far fewer resources than the public school system, yet you seem to provide so much more. It is impressive.
Dear Ms. M.,
Not only did you do an incredible job organizing all of their work, communicating with us parents, and making this a fun and enjoyable experience for your students, it was an absolute pleasure to watch you handle the online learning like you’ve been doing it for years. As I’ve said to you before, you are a truly gifted teacher and a great example for what it takes to make the educational experience appealing to children. Amazing job!…….Parent of a 1st Grader

A special thank you to the most enthusiastic and loving toddler teacher ever! Oliver thoroughly enjoyed his first virtual classroom experience with Ms. P today!
Parent of a 4th Grader
Yes, indeed! I admire what the school, faculty and support staff did to switch to online studying. This is a very good reminder to all parents about huge difference between our school and all other schools!
Parent of a 6th Grader
Just in case nobody has told you recently or enough…you all rock!! Thank you to the entire Laurel Hill community for wrapping your arms around your LHS family, being prepared, and caring. How reassuring for our children to be able to have routine, connection and of course education. You are all amazing and your efforts are truly appreciated. This to, like all things, shall pass and together as a community we will all not only get through it but also rise above.
Parent of a Pre-K Student
Yes! Amazing what the teachers put together and how quickly they organized it. My son has Ms. H. and Mrs. K. and the first day went off without any issues. All the kids were engaged and learning while having fun. I can’t stress this enough, they are AMAZING. My son is so lucky to have them. Great job!

I echo your remarks. In my university we are struggling to get all faculty on board to use Zoom, and you have been able to do it very quickly. Seeing my toddler connecting to zoom today is an inspiration for those of us working at higher levels, we must try harder; we must reach higher, especially in these times of uncertainty. The future will be bright as long as we keep trying to reach our potential.
