Trips

Each class experiences between five and seven off-campus adventures per year. Trip sites range from science centers to historic homes to major museums. Fifth and eighth graders have the opportunity to participate in multi-day journeys to major historical centers of our nation, including Washington D.C., Philadelphia, and Boston.

Festivals, Feasts, Dances and Cultural Arts Programs

The School nurtures a joyful environment and provides numerous opportunities for fun and discovery. These include annual science fairs, art exhibitions, parties, and a Halloween parade.
Thanksgiving and Valentine’s Day are very special times at LHS.

Our school community shares the virtues of Thanksgiving during an all-together student, teacher and parent costumed feast complete with authentic foods, chorus, readings, and dedications. We dance into the night with our annual Valentine’s Day Dances. It’s Jr. Dance for our younger children, and Sr. Dance for our older students.
