PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Do you wonder about how robots work?

Do you think that programming a robot may be just as much fun as playing with one?

Do you enjoy a challenge?

 

As a member of the LHS Lego Robotics, your team will be challenged to take on national competition in the FIRST Lego League.  You will design and build an original robot to do a special job best.

You will discover how much fun science and technology can be as you solve real-world engineering challenges.  Math and science become real life as you design, build and program your very own free-running robot.

 

EXCITING TOURNAMENT EXPERIENCES

- Opportunity to participate in one-day qualifying events and tournaments
- Teams compete with their peers in high energy, sports-like events
- Teams present their challenge solutions to a panel of judges
- Team awards are presented for research & presentation, robot design, robot performance, and teamwork
