N.B. In Ecce Romani there are reading passages which offer students the opportunity to learn more vocabulary in a cultural context. They will also learn how the Latin language works through grammatical explanations and exercises.
Throughout the year students will learn Latin expressions which are used frequently in English. Some examples: carpe diem, non sequitur, excelsior, cum grano salis, per diem, quid pro quo, modus operandi, nota bene, in loco parentis, ad infinitum, habeas corpus, et cetera.
7th GRADE
